2025 Senior Awards Night

The Lincoln Academy in Beloit hosted their inaugural Senior Awards Night for their first graduating Class of 2025 on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The event took place at the school and included a short reception after the formal presentation. Several character awards, certifications, special recognitions, and scholarships were presented to the senior class. Every graduating scholar received awards. Cumulative achievements of the class as a whole were also shared.

2025 Scholar Showcase

The Lincoln Academy hosted their fourth annual Scholar Showcase on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Over 173 individuals responded to the event this year. In addition to admiring unique and original-designed items in woodworking, welding, and artwork, guests enjoyed an evening of appetizers, beverages, and live music by the Feestet Trio, a local jazz band based out of Madison. Funds raised at the Scholar Showcase will be used to purchase necessary materials and equipment for the academy’s specialty labs.

Two more TLA scholars have been recognized as Rotary Club of Beloit Scholars of the Week! In Fall 2024, TLA seniors Katie M. and Vito G. received this same honor. On April 29th, Emma H. and Evelyn H. received their awards. Scholars are selected for excelling in our three pillars: Academic Rigor, Character Development, and Career Exploration.

The Lincoln Academy scholars who received Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP)-Teen Regional State Awards include:
Monica Aranda, Grade 11, with graphite on watercolor paper, titled Ephemeral.
Emma Najdowski, Grade 12, with an acrylic on canvas, titled Ocean Wanderers.
Abigail Shellenberger, Grade 12, with acrylic and glue on canvas, titled Pancho Proper.

Do Good Wisconsin Honors TLA with a Top Community Service Award

Eric Salzwedel, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Do Good Wisconsin (DGW), presented The Lincoln Academy (TLA) with an award on Friday, April 11, 2025 recognizing their achievement in collecting the most number of cereal boxes for the annual DGW Cereal Box Domino Challenge, which concluded in March 2025.

USS Beloit commissioning draws from all over Wisconsin

More than 3,200 people filled Veterans Park on a chilly Saturday morning to see the USS Beloit officially go into service.
The visitors ranged from proud Beloiters and Fairbanks Morse Defense workers to military veterans of every service and even curious citizens from Milwaukee.
