Yolanda Rivera

Director of Scholar Services

Yolanda Rivera has served as The Lincoln Academy’s Director of Scholar Services since January 2021, bringing a deep commitment to ensuring that every scholar reaches and exceeds their full potential. She oversees scholar enrollment and records, compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, restorative discipline, attendance, residency standards, and scholar support systems, while fostering a positive, goal-driven, and family-centered school environment.

With over a decade of experience in education, Yolanda has worked as an elementary teacher, K–8 computer specialist, camp director, office administrator, and data analyst. She was the first in her family to attend college, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with dual majors in Marketing and Real Estate & Urban Development from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She later earned an MBA in Human Resource Management from Capella University and a Data Analyst Certification from UW–Milwaukee.

At The Lincoln Academy, Yolanda emphasizes partnerships with parents and teachers, guiding scholars to become active, contributing members of the Beloit community. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is dedicated to equitable access to education and nurturing both a love of learning and positive character traits in all scholars.

Outside of work, Yolanda enjoys self-help literature, live music, travel, exploring wineries, and creating memorable experiences with her son and her two dogs, Helen and Pablito.
