Yolanda Rivera

Director of Scholar Services

Yolanda Rivera, Director of Student Services, joined The Lincoln Academy in January of 2021. She is dedicated to improving K-12 public charter school education to ensure that all scholars reach and exceed their potential. She helps lead this effort at The Lincoln Academy by creating a positive, structured, achievement-oriented, parent-friendly, and data-driven focus so all scholars will be successful. Yolanda's primary responsibilities include: administrative supervision of student enrollment and records, state reporting and compliance, restorative discipline policy and procedure, student support systems, attendance, residency requirements, and community family outreach. Committed to education for over a decade, Yolanda also has experience as an elementary teacher, K-8 camp director, office administrator, and data analyst.

As the first college graduate in her family, Yolanda received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a dual major in Marketing and Real Estate & Urban Development from UW-Milwaukee and her Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from Capella University. In May of 2019, she received her Data Analyst Certification from UW-Milwaukee.

Yolanda brings her passion for lifelong learning and positive energy to her role at The Lincoln Academy. She is eager to assist scholars in becoming productive, engaged members of the Beloit community. Yolanda values partnerships with parents and teachers to support scholars in their educational experiences. She believes cultivating a love of learning and developing positive character are essential for scholar success. Yolanda is bilingual, and she is looking forward to connecting with many of the families and community members in Beloit. She is committed to ensuring equitable access for all scholars.

When not at work, Yolanda enjoys reading self-help books, attending live jazz music performances, traveling, and spending time with her fiancé, son, and chihuahua Pablito.
