

Shane Davie
Dean of Instruction 6th-12th
Shane joined the TLA team as a high school social studies teacher in August 2021 before transitioning into his role as the 6–12th Grade Dean of Instruction. He brings a strong background in classroom teaching and is passionate about supporting both staff and scholars through rigorous, engaging instruction, and a culture built on positive relationships. While at TLA, Shane has also served as Head Cross Country Coach, JV Girls Basketball Coach, and Varsity Baseball Coach.
Shane holds an A.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Rock County, dual bachelor’s degrees in Secondary Education and Political Science (with a minor in History) from UW–Parkside, and an M.S. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW–Madison.
Before becoming an educator, Shane served nearly a decade in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces member, completing multiple overseas deployments and earning the Air Force Commendation Medal for distinguished service.
A proud Beloit native, Shane enjoys attending SkyCarp games, golfing at Krueger-Haskell and other area courses. When not golfing you can find Shane in the gym working out, and spending time with his wife, four children, two cats, and Terrier, Louie.
