Sha-Nita Davies

Sha-Nita Davies joins The Lincoln Academy as a Beloit advocate, passionate champion for young people, and educator of 18 years. After spending 10 years as an English educator, she has dedicated her career to creating opportunities for scholars to build confidence and see themselves as capable of achieving all they set out to achieve.

Sha-Nita graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She earned her license to teach and Master of Arts degree in Professional Development from Alverno College and went on to obtain her Administrative license from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota by way of EducatePathways Wisconsin.

Her commitment to community extends beyond education. As President and Director of South Central Competitions, Inc., a non-profit organization that hosts the Miss Beloit Scholarship Competition, Sha-Nita works to create meaningful opportunities for young women to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and grow in confidence through scholarship and competition. Sha-Nita is especially proud of expanding the organization and providing scholarship dollars to anyone in the community who is looking to further their education.

In her spare time, she enjoys singing at events, watching musicals, traveling, going to pageants, bowling, and spending time with her husband and three children.
