District Manager
Jean Marie McKearn joined The Lincoln Academy as a volunteer in August 2020 and became an official District employee in January 2021. She holds a B.S. in Business Management and brings more than 30 years of professional experience in business operations, project management, and organizational leadership to the school. Jean Marie’s dedication to children, passion for meaningful projects, and enthusiasm for creating joyful and efficient experiences make her a valued founding contributor to The Lincoln Academy.
In her role, Jean Marie plays a critical part in managing school special events. She directs and coordinates key annual programs, including the Scholar Showcase, graduation ceremony, senior awards night, and preparation for Board meetings - ensuring each event reflects the school’s commitment to excellence and celebrates scholar achievement. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams help create seamless experiences for scholars, families, and staff alike.
Outside of her professional work, Jean Marie enjoys life with her husband and their six children. Her personal interests include training their Chesapeake Bay Retriever and finding creative ways to bring joy and learning into everyday activities. Jean Marie’s combination of professional expertise, community focus, and dedication to scholar success exemplifies the mission and values of The Lincoln Academy.
