Dean of Scholars - 6th-12th Grades
Ezi Adesi joined The Lincoln Academy team July of 2021 as the Dean of Scholars for grades 6-12. Ezi will establish and maintain the culture of The Lincoln Academy by supporting scholars, families, and staff while upholding the mission and values of The Lincoln Academy.
Ezi is a proud alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Throughout Ezi's career in education, he has supported and advised students with educational and occupational goals. Ezi's focus has been on the importance of the whole student, community engagement, relationship building and student success. Ezi brings extensive knowledge of serving students on a wide spectrum of cultural, racial, educational, and economically diverse groups as well as a thorough understanding of student needs, student culture, motivations and keys to student persistence.
As a result of his commitment to the needs of students, Ezi has created a warm and welcoming environment for students in various educational settings including non-profit, community based organizations as a GED Instructor and Director of Adult Education Programs, as well as a teacher in various adult correctional institutions. His proudest moments have been seeing students persevere and overcome adversity to graduate and improve their quality of life through education.
Ezi is a proud Beloit native. In his free time he enjoys listening to jazz, spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.
