Career Pathways

The exploration of college and career pathways will begin in K4, as we intentionally integrate cross curricular career connections.  Scholars will begin a journey of interests and goal setting that will lead them to their self-selected career path as they create their Individualized Learning Plans.  In middle school scholars will begin exploratory classes, and continue this exploration in high school with service learning, job shadows, internships, and youth apprenticeships.  Advanced Placement (AP) courses will be offered in each core content in high school so scholars can gain college credits while still at TLA.  Scholars will also have the opportunity to take dual credit courses on campus at The Lincoln Academy, through a local technical college such as Blackhawk Technical College, or through a university such as University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
