Career Pathways

The exploration of college and career pathways begins in K4, as we intentionally integrate cross curricular career connections.  Scholars begin a journey of interests and goal setting that leads them to their self-selected career path as they create their Individualized Learning Plans.  In middle school scholars begin exploratory classes, and continue this exploration in high school with service learning, job shadows, internships, and youth apprenticeships.  Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered in each core content in high school so scholars can gain college credits while still at TLA.  Scholars also have the opportunity to take dual credit courses on campus at The Lincoln Academy, through a local technical college such as Blackhawk Technical College, or through a university such as University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
